Far Northern Regional Center is a fixed point of referral for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
FNRC also provides services to infants and toddlers (from birth to three years old) who are showing a delay in their development or who are at substantially high risk for a developmental disability.
FNRC coordinates community resources such as education, recreation, health, rehabilitation and welfare for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The photos exhibited on the FNRC website opening page are selected from the film project “…that’s me!” This 13-minute short features six self-advocates from Chico who share their thoughts about working, success, achievement, self-advocacy, and community inclusion. The film previewed at the 2012 FOCUS Film Festival in Chico and is currently touring schools where students are transitioning to adulthood. “…that’s me!” is a project of Far Northern Regional Center and was produced by Far Northern Regional Center and directed by Doug Churchill.
