Art And Disability Organizations
The following sites are amazing resources for the artist and art educator. Each organization provides a variety of ways to utilize its services. VSA arts regularly issues calls for student art. They also produce a number of publications that address the learning of students with disabilities in art and provide links to the work of artists with disabilities. The National Arts And Disability Center is a clearinghouse of information on arts and disabilities, and the National Disability Arts Forum provides an online curriculum for disability arts. Abilities Arts Festival is an organization that promotes diversity, inclusiveness and the power of art as a means of enriching the cultural fabric of our communities.
