CAPTAIN Training Red Bluff

June 20, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

This is part of our “Casual Conversations” Series

Our service system is facing many significant changes over the next several years. These “conversations” are an opportunity to learn about and discuss the proposals or directions in the regional center system you may have heard about. We encourage you to spend some time with us in a constructive dialogue.

This CAPTAIN training is intended specifically for providers

Using Evidence Based Practices in Service Delivery to People with Autism -an introduction

There are so many interventions one can use to impact a person with a diagnosis of Autism. Which interventions should you use? Which is the best? Research has found that only some interventions are effective and 27 of them have been identified as “Evidence Based Practices”.

This conversation will talk about what has been done to help people learn about Evidence Based Practices, and how you can learn about different approaches to autism treatment. Jackie Johnson is our representative to the California Autism Professional Information and Training Network (CAPTAIN) and she loves to share her knowledge.

**Pre-Registration Required due to limited seating**

2 CEU’s will be provided after the training and will be e-mailed to the address you use when registering
