The 9th Annual FOCUS Film Festival and Short Film Competition will be held October 3-5 at Chico State's Colusa Hall.  Join us for the kickoff on Thursday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at the Big Room at Sierra Nevada.

This is the second year the annual event includes a Saturday and multiple theaters allowing the Festival to offer nearly 30 films from around the world. Attend workshops with visiting directors, stars, and experts; visit the photo gallery; and join us at a reception for the winning directors of the Short Film Competition. 

About Colusa Hall

Colusa Hall, built in 1921, is the oldest building on the CSU campus. In 1997, the campus made the decision to save the historic building and created an event facility that integrates state-of-the-art technologies, stunning design, and natural and built environments.

The venue offers two theaters, an exhibit hall, and several classrooms ideal for workshops or panel discussions sponsored by the Festival. There is an atrium for receptions and an outdoor patio space reserved for Festival attendees. Sylvester's Cafe is next door.
