Highland Lakes Family Crisis Center: http://www.main.org Basic information for volunteers working with family crisis situations and victims of abuse including, "Tips for Working with Sexual Abuse Survivors who have Disabilities."

Recognized by many for developing and delivering accurate, medically reliable information about Sexually Transmitted Diseases. ASHA produces a number of  educational pamphlets and books.

The ARC: http://www.thearc.org/The ARC advocates that people with mental retardation and related developmental disabilities, like all people, have inherent sexual rights and basic human needs. They believe these rights and needs must be affirmed, defended, and respected.

The British Columbia Coalition of People with Disabilities: AIDS & Disability Action Project (ADAP): http://www.bccpd.bc.ca/wdi  An international organization that supports full participation of people with disabilities in society and promotes independence. Site includes ADAP resources for health educators and the Health Literacy Network.

The National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities

Oak Hill Center on Relationships and Sexuality Education: http://www.oakhillcrse.org The Center specializes in serving the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, specific syndromes and other physical/emotional conditions.

Planned Parenthood:  http://www.planned parenthood.org Provides comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services and educational programs which enhance understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality.

Through the Looking Glass (TLG):  http://www.lookingglass.org/ A nationally recognized non-profit agency and  the  first National Resource Center for Parents with Disabilities.  They provide direct services, training, materials and research concerning families in which a child, parent or grandparent has a disability or medical issue.
