I continue to like my position as a Consumer Advocate.  I work on the Watch Out! newsletter. We talk about upcoming events, decide what kinds of articles will be going to the newsletter, and we edit the paper.  I am a speaker for the Vote Project with We Care A Lot Foundation. We try to get people to vote by educating them about the history of voting and why it is so important to vote in this country.
I am a very busy women; I work six days a week. Not only am I a Consumer Advocate for Far Northern Regional Center, I also work for The Little Red Hen Gift Shop setting up displays and assisting customers. I am also a Barista or someone who makes drinks and food at Mondo’s Café.

One of my biggest accomplishments in my life is living on my own. I am very particular about keeping my apartment clean. I like cooking homemade hamburgers; I don’t use frozen patties. I also like making homemade spaghetti and making my own guacamole. I am proud to live on my own and being able to care for myself is important to me; it makes me feel like a human being. The reason I like to live on my own is because I get to watch whatever I want when I want, and I can have things my way. I also like listening to my own music and singing. I enjoy watching funny shows and Disney movies. I like sharing my story because I feel like it gives other people hope.
