Updated: 3/19/2021

Q: Who is eligible to get a vaccine?

In Plumas County, all individuals over the age of 18 who have a developmental disability and receive services from Far Northern Regional Center are eligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.  16 and 17 year olds are eligible to receive only the Pfizer vaccine and Plumas county has not been given Pfizer  vaccine.

Q: How do I sign up to get a vaccine?
Call your primary care provider in Plumas County to schedule a vaccine.  If you do not have a primary care provider, please sign up on https://myturn.ca.gov/ and you will be notified when there are open clinics in Plumas County.

Q: Where do I go to get a vaccine once I’m eligible.
Locations may vary.

Q: What do I need to bring to get a vaccine when it’s my turn?
When you sign up for the vaccine, there will be documentation available about what you need to bring.  Please bring ID if you have it, your insurance card, proof you live in Plumas County and your FNRC letter of disability.  Some clinics will have a consent form that will need to be completed as well as a prevaccination check-list.   If you have questions, please call your service coordinator.

Q: I need transportation. How do I get to the vaccination location?
Public transportation or if you need help getting to the appointment, please contact your service coordinator.

For any other questions or more information, please visit the Plumas County Vaccine website.
