Siskiyou County C19 Vaccine Info

Q: Who is eligible to get a vaccine?
In Siskiyou County, all individuals over the age of 16 who have a developmental disability and receive services from Far Northern Regional Center are eligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.  16 and 17 year olds can only receive the Pfizer vaccine.

Q: How do I sign up to get a vaccine?
In Siskiyou County, there are various locations where vaccines can be scheduled.  Please follow the link to https://www.co.siskiyou.ca.us/publichealth/page/covid-19-vaccination-locations

Clinics vaccinating all eligible individuals:  Dignity Health Community Clinics, Shasta Cascade Health Centers, Karuk Tribal Health Clinic, and Rite Aid Pharmacies. 

On the first Thursday of each month, Siskiyou County has a Pfizer vaccine clinic held at the Armory in Mt Shasta.  This vaccine clinic is for individuals 16 and older.  . The next clinic will be on April 1st.  This clinic is by appointment only – Go to https://www.co.siskiyou.ca.us/publichealth/page/covid-19-vaccine-information 1-2 weeks prior to the clinic to sign up

On the third Thursday of each month, Siskiyou County has a Pfizer vaccine clinic held at the Yreka Fair Grounds.  This vaccine clinic is for individuals 16 and older.  The next clinic will be on April 15th.  , This clinic is by appointment only – Go to https://www.co.siskiyou.ca.us/publichealth/page/covid-19-vaccine-information 1-2 weeks prior to the clinic to sign up. Health Centers.

Q: Where do I go to get a vaccine once I’m eligible.
Locations may vary.

Q: What do I need to bring to get a vaccine when it’s my turn?
When you sign up for the vaccine, there will be documentation available about what you need to bring.  Please bring ID if you have it, your insurance card, and your FNRC letter of disability.  Some clinics will have a consent form that will need to be completed as well as a prevaccination check-list.   If you have questions, please call your service coordinator.

Q: I need transportation. How do I get to the vaccination location?
If you have ILS or SLS services please contact your provider (Compass or Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries.  Otherwise, If you need help getting to the appointment, please contact your service coordinator
