02-08-21 Press Release – Trinity County Public Health Branch

Updated: 3/19/2021

Q: Who is eligible to get a vaccine?
In Trinity County, all individuals over the age of 18 who have a developmental disability and receive services from Far Northern Regional Center are eligible to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.  16 and 17 year olds can only receive the Pfizer vaccine and Trinity County does not have any Pfizer vaccine at this time.

Trinity County has scheduled second dose vaccination clinics on Thursday March 5 and 6, Friday March 12 and Friday March 19 for second doses of the vaccine only.

Q: How do I sign up to get a vaccine?
Go to https://myturn.ca.gov/ to sign up for a vaccine.  If you are having a hard time signing up, please call your service coordinator for help. If you do not have internet access, call 623-8235 to sign up for a vaccine.

Q: Where do I go to get a vaccine once I’m eligible.

Veteran’s Memorial Hall
109 Memorial Drive, Weaverville

Q: What do I need to bring to get a vaccine when it’s my turn?
When you sign up for the vaccine, there will be documentation available about what you need to bring.  Please bring ID if you have it, your insurance card, and your FNRC letter of disability.  Some clinics will have a consent form that will need to be completed as well as a prevaccination check-list.   If you have questions, please call your service coordinator.

Q: I need transportation. How do I get to the vaccination location?
If you need help getting to the appointment, please contact your service coordinator.
