Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Redding Office

POSITION:     Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Bargaining Unit Position

LOCATION:  Redding Office

HOURS:         Full Time Position – 39 hours per week

SALARY & BENEFITS:  
$38.95 – $48.31 per hour.  Complete package of fringe benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, 17 paid holidays, and CalPERS Retirement. Travel allowance for fieldwork.

JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
Under direction of the Medical Director,the Behavior Analyst will serve as a Qualified Behavior Modification Professional.  The Behavior Analyst identifies unmet behavioral service needs, develops and conducts specialized monitoring in designated residential settings to ensure quality assurance, provides consultation to FNRC staff and vendors regarding behavior support needs for clients who may also have complex health conditions, co-occurring mental health diagnosis, and forensic involvement.  The Behavior Analyst represents FNRC within the broader community to provide advocacy, outreach, and education.  This position is responsible for providing consultation on behavioral interventions and behavior support resources to clinical staff, Community Services Department, and Case Management in their on-going efforts to serve individuals with developmental disabilities.  The Behavior Analyst typically does not provide direct clinical or treatment services.  Other related duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, able to work and problem solve  independently while navigating the regulatory requirements of the Department of Developmental Services, Regional Center, and it’s vendors as outlined in Title 17 and Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations (CCR), Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC), and California Health and Safety Code (H&S).  

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or Psy.D. in a related discipline such as behavior analysis, psychology, social work, education, or counseling, Board Certification in Behavioral Analysis or ability to become certified within 6 months of hire.   2+ years of experience designing, supervising, and implementing behavior modification services to individuals with developmental disabilities.  Experience implementing ABA based treatment programs. Experience supporting individuals with mental health diagnoses and/or involvement with the judicial system preferred.
