Fiscal Accounts Assistant – Purchase of Services (POS) Dept.
Bargaining Unit Position

LOCATION:
Redding Office

HOURS:
Full Time – 39 hours per week

SALARY & BENEFITS:
$19.24 – $25.46 per hour. Complete package of fringe benefits including vacation and sick leave, health/dental/vision insurance, 17 paid holidays, and CalPERS retirement.

JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for auditing and processing vendor payment claims; auditing and processing POS agreements or POS authorizations received by internal departments (including verifying or entering vendor numbers, service codes, and rates); processing and coordinating client budgets, authorizations, payments, and budget changes; preparing fiscal year end budget rollover information; and processing medical invoices utilizing standard medical procedure codes. Phone contact with professional staff and with vendors. Requires ability to set priorities and manage a variety of duties. Must be able to work with a fair degree of independence. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
