JOB SYNOPSIS & QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY:
A registered nurse position responsible for providing nursing/health-related consults and performing administrative tasks related to client screening, eligibility for special services, and/or public health considerations. Performs nursing assessments, ICD 10 Coding, reviews and monitors clients’ status, consults with case managers and other staff, coordinates special clinics, participates in interdisciplinary team meetings, and performs related administrative tasks. Requires B.S. Degree or equivalent from a NLNAC accredited college: major coursework in nursing or a directly related science curriculum; R.N. licensure and 3 years experience, preferably in fields of developmental disabilities, maternal and child health, with background in psychiatric units and/or public health. California certification as a PHN is preferred.
SALARY & BENEFITS:
$5,475.80 – $ 6,760.00/month. Complete package of fringe benefits including Vacation and Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 16 paid Holidays, and CalPERS Retirement. Travel allowance for field work.
