The next NCI survey “ Family Guardian/Adult Family Survey” which targets parents and guardians of adults that receive services from the Regional Center will be mailed out to families January through June of this year. This survey is conducted by the State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD). SCDD is contracted to implement the survey by DDS through the Quality Assurance Project.
As a reminder, the National Core Indicators (NCI) is a project that collects information about the satisfaction and experiences of people with developmental disabilities receiving services. The core indicators are standard measures used across states to assess the outcomes of services provided to individuals and families. Indicators address key areas of concern including employment, rights, service planning, community inclusion, choice, and health and safety.
