Abuse of the elderly and adults with disabilities is a crime that is both underreported and poorly understood by the public. No one should be at risk of physical violence, exploitation or emotional abuse, yet 1 in 9 seniors and people with disabilities suffer abuse every day in our country. Help us get the message out that ABUSE OF ANYONE IS A HUMAN RIGHTS ISSUE!

All contest entries must address the basic theme that abuse of anyone (including/especially seniors and people with disabilities) is a human rights issue that should concern us all. You can address the theme explicitly or implicitly, seriously or humorously (in good taste please) but this theme must be central to the entry.
