Residential Service Provider Orientation – Fall 2015
September 14, 21, 28 and October 5 (9:00 am – 3:30 pm)
What is RSPO?
FNRC provides at least two residential service provider orientations per year. These orientations are required by the California Code of Regulations, Title 17 and present an overview of the topics important to the operation of a residential facility. RSPO currently consists of four sessions and is generally held in Red Bluff.
Who should attend RSPO?
Completion of Far Northern Regional Center’s “Residential Service Provider Orientation” is mandatory for 1) all individuals seeking vendorization of a residential facility and 2) all persons planning to serve as an administrator of a vendored home.
Are there pre-requisites?
To register for RSPO, an individual must have a current Administrator’s Certificate, Direct Service Professional (DSP) 1 and 2 Certificates, and the minimum number of required hours of direct care experience with persons with developmental special needs, based on the level of service they plan to provide.
Are continuing education credits (CEUs) offered for this course?
No.
